This Privacy Policy explains how Equity.Tips (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your information when you visit equity.tips or contact us on WhatsApp. By using our website or services, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum.

  • WhatsApp details: When you join our WhatsApp group or message our support number, we receive your WhatsApp phone number and profile name, along with the messages you send us.
  • Website usage data: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. It may collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time spent and approximate location, using cookies or similar technologies.
  • Payment information: Payments after the free trial are made through a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details. The gateway shares only a payment confirmation with us.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as Aadhaar, PAN or bank account numbers through our website or WhatsApp group.

2. How we use your information

  • To add you to our WhatsApp group and share trade ideas with you.
  • To respond to your questions and provide support.
  • To follow up with you on WhatsApp when your free trial ends, and to share plan and payment details.
  • To improve our website and services through analytics.
  • To meet legal and regulatory requirements.

3. WhatsApp

Our group and support chats run on WhatsApp, which is a service provided by a third party. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. Your phone number may be visible to group admins. Only admins can post in our group.

4. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies, including those set by Google Analytics, to measure traffic and improve your experience. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on provided by Google. Blocking cookies will not stop you from using our website.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run our services, such as the payment gateway, Google Analytics, our website host and WhatsApp.
  • Authorities or courts, when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent to our use of it. To make a request, email us at support@equity.tips. You can also leave our WhatsApp group at any time.

9. Children

Our services are meant for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites or services, including WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date shown at the top.
